Caller asks for the person that owns the 'phone number', if you say they are not in - they will just say "we were actually calling for you too, without knowing who you are". They proceed to go into a full story about supporting the US Veterans Assistance Association & asking if they can count on you to support disabled veterans (my husband IS a disabled veteran). Before he asked for money I just stopped him by saying "my husband IS a disabled veteran so I'm fairly certain we've given enough". He just hung up.
