Apparently there's going to be a warrant out for my arrest if I don't call the IRS back today. They said there's a problem with the amount of income tax I paid. I'm pretty sure that if that was the case, I wouldn't have gotten a return.

I recieved a call from this number, voicemail left saying he was an officer with the irs with a heavy Indian accent. Said I had a lawsuit against me from the irs and to call him back. I called back and reached a voicemail and I left a message stating this was the first time I've recieved any notice regarding a lawsuit. Told him I would be happy to discuss the case with my attorney, accountant and the police once I've been properly served paperwork regarding the alleged lawsuit, thus far no call back from said officer. Believe it to be a scam!

It was an Indian accent guy names Adian Clark that called me. Said I owed the IRS $3000 and they sent me 2 notices and "why I no pay?" Then said if I don't pay I will go to jail tomorrow. I said to go ahead with the legal proceedings. I've had a family member that had IRS issues and the IRS will find you and garnish wages before they send you to jail. IRS doesn't call and threaten.. they don't need to.

Today I have have not only received one call but 5 calls from this number saying that it is a officer from the the iRS that there is a lawsuit for me and if I do not pay 2500 that the police will be at my doorstep and I will be arrested
.not only does he know my phone number and name he also knew my age and social number ..beware of this man he goes by officer paul officer tolsmith and others please pass thos on dont let thia man get away with this. .thank you -

These people called today and stated that they are calling from the IRS and I need to call back before litigations happen and its extremly time sensitive. I am an approved IRS eFile provider and have my own tax business. I do taxes for a living and agree with the Rachel above, if I owed I wouldn't have a got a return. Also to keep my business in line I have to file taxes correctly so this call was a major red flag. Also the IRS never calls you or email you. They ALWAYS send a letter in the mail to your address for any communication.
I blocked this number and will not return call. I advise everyone else does the same and do not give them your important personal information.

Keep calling me telling me they are the irs and that I need to call the same number back and ask for a different person to discuss my case or face prison. But for some reason cannot transfer me Even though they are calling from the number they want me to call back. When I bring up that I have the real irs on the other line they hang up.
