I no longer keep my answering machine on (most people call my cell anyway) on my home phone, which is where they called, so no one can leave (which they normally don't) message. I had bought a call blocker device and when they called today, I immediately blocked it since I was home, then programmed it again just to make sure. If I am home, I can block as they call, otherwise I manually program numbers taken from caller id. The device does work, other callers have been blocked immediately. I do not answer if I do not recognize the number. I also filed a complaint with donotcall (not that it does any good) anyway, even though surveys are permitted.

this is the third time this number has called, today, I told them unless they wanted to come clean my drains, I didn't have time for their nonsense. and hung up. Its Saturday here, and I am on the do not call list, this is pure harassment

The caller told me it was a survey about the election. Then began to read statements about the canidates they wanted me to vote for and repeditaely asked me who I was going to vote for in an attempt to change my vote. When I refused to be swayed, they called over and over saying were not done with the survey.

586-625-1599 has called several times the past few days.
Whether or not I say Hello it gives one beep, then nothing for a bit, then finally hangs up.
Perhaps it only wants to talk to an answering machine. Some robocalls won't leave their message if a live human just says hello. -

Received a call 7/10/14 8:30 pm PST from a giggling girl asking if Jane Doe (she used my real name) was available. When I asked who this is, she giggled some more and hung up. If it is a survey company like some suggest, maybe they just have to prove that they called to be paid. I am also on the National Do Not Call List, but survey companies seem to be exempt.

They have called my cell phone seven times in the past four days asking me to take a survey about my healthcare provider. I only picked up once and the caller was very rude.
