My phone rang once, and seconds later rang again displaying "Janesville". This means that our iRobo service blocked it as a robo call (or suspected undesirable), and gave the caller an opportunity to supply a one-time only code that only a live person can do. If a caller supplies that code, the call is forwarded to iRobo's location in Janesville. Well, the caller must have supplied the code, but there was perfect silence on the voice message. In my book, legitimate callers leave messages. As an aside, I wish this website would display comments in chronological order with newest messages first.

Been getting calls from this number every other day, finally picked it up. Heavy foreign accent, maybe Filipino. They knew my name and asked if I was interested in selling my house (they knew the address also), said they were cash buyers. I said not interested and asked how they got my info, they said they were getting names with addresses and phone numbers and targeting them...it smelled like SCAM and she just verified it!!!

My experience was the same as those below. One ring. Nomorobo blocked it. Within 15 seconds or so, this call came through with an ID for Maine Medical. I didn't answer to know who or what this was about, but I see here - this is no one that I want to talk to! I don't know why I even have a house phone anymore anyway. Dirt bags.
gigi replied 9/14/16, 9:13 PMI had the exact thing happen to me. I called Maine Medical in the State of Maine & they were not aware their name was being used. Please look up the real numbers and report it to the people whose names are being used fraudulently. The Maine Medical fraud said I owed a bill then to return the call for payment -

This is nomorobo number to let you know a bad number called with a human and got through the menu to nomorobo who have them place a random number and then send them the message that you are not taking these kind of unknown calls. Nomorobo then calls you from 608-371-6666 to let you know it has blocked a call. Works good.

Twice my doctor's office has called me and each time this number shows up twice
at exactly the same minute of the official call...thus, blocking my docotor's office. Somehow they are "piggybacking" on a legit incoming call. I shall try unblocking and see if anything changes. -

Immediately after this number 608/371-6666 called and it came through, Woman with very thick accent asked for me and wanted to discuss Medicare insurance with me. Told her it has been taken care of and to not call again. Blocking her number just in case

Very convincing so BEWARE! Polite and well spoken person reads a very realistic script saying the were from my (actual) bank. When they asked me to confirm my name my gut told me to say 'NO'. Very politely apologized and said good buy!

I use a call blocking service, Nomorobo. When a real person is calling from a suspect number; they can respond to the CAPTCHA test. Nomorobo will assign this number to the call and let it through. Perhaps other blocking services use this number as well and perhaps SKYPE callers get the same treatment. -

Persistent enough to answer the test and get by roboblocker. First time i picked up, they were slow responding, so I only heard them as I clicked to hang up. They called back. Clearly a sales call, although they didn't get to the actual pitch.
I see that this number has been used by other companies, so it is probably a general telemarketing number.

using skype to bypass robo software but was disconnected after two rings they use many numbers including department store businesses and famous people's names when they are cut off by robo software they just call back with skype or some other service but they are disconnected after 2 calls not one. Losers that can't make a living doing anything else even in a boom economy! If you are salesman why would would you sell fake products unless you were a crook they call all day but no one picks up because we have the volume down so low no one hears it anymore.
