this foreign guy called me first from a private number telling me he was from Microsoft Windows and there was a threat on my computer,I asked him to call back which he did with in minutes from 646-560-44987, he asked if I was in front of it and that if he could gain access to my system. I told him I Googled his phone number and that there were a lot of negative comments regarding his company, he got very excited which I told him there was no way he was a IT specialist getting all aggressive and excited with me. He said that time was running out and he needed to log onto my system to get the virus off. I said that this sounds suspicious and I was not comfortable with it. I began reading various comments regarding this telephone number and the scam that was happening, he said me and my computer can go to h**l and that he hopes all my systems crashes and started just cussing me out. I asked for a supervisor since this was supposedly a reputable company and he hung up.

They have been calling for my sister in law. After 2 years some how they admitted to me today that they knew who I was..and said my name. Kind of scary. I don't know maybe its an actual debt collection company. Before they used to be a bank..now the number is calling from New York saying they are going to seize her / or freeze her bank account and levy her to the IRS. Not sure what's going on. tried to return call..and mysteriously the number is out of service

Does anyone know how they get our information. I live with my family and our house phone is registered under my dads name. I was at work but my dad took the call... He says a man with an Indian accent called looking for me by name. He said that the man was talking about a virus on my computer. I have 3 computers that have my personal information on them and they are all very clean and have exhibited no abnormal behavior. My guess is that they got my info from a third party where my information was sold (I sometimes use the home phone number for registration), but I would like to know more if anyone else has any information.

They just buy lists, numbers all in sequence... -

Got a call from my 6465684497 and some idiot with a thick accent says he's calling from windows tech support. Right and I'm stupid! !! I said "hell no you're not" and hung up phone. Next time Ill tell him I'm the Queen of England!!!lol

Man with heavy foreign accent called to tell me I had won a large amount in a contest and that I had to pay 2% of the taxes on it to the IRS upfront. They want me to call them back when I can make the first payment on a payment plan and they will bring a certified check to my house. I will not be calling them back.

The call came in at 8:20 a.m. on a Sunday morning and when I picked up the phone, no one was there. I called back and an recorded operator said "the number is not in service".

I have way too much fun with them!!! If you really want to ruin their day Ask them if Lick their camels testicles and what does it taste like! They lose their minds!!! -

Claimed to be from Microsoft calling about an emergency computer problem, and told me to go turn on my computer. I refused. He was insistent. I asked him to remove me from his list as I am on the do not call list and will turn him in if he calls again.

It Says mary Maxwell and when you look the number up its a real drs office iin Calif. I have called the number and always get their machine but I left her several messages telling to contact her provider and told her what was happening. havent had that call now for about 8 weeks. Im getting this NY number now! but they lose their minds if you rip them apart and insult them..one guy started screaming at me that I was a bloody american!!! I laughed at him and went off on him! When Im bored they are fun to toy with.carol replied 8/31/14, 2:50 PMsame thing happened to me with facebook i called a number and they acted like they were facebook to fix my computer he got in my computer beacuse i thought he was facebook and i know he stole my identity and i called him back right after then they said it was a restaurant i said im turning you in he goes you got the wrong number i told him i will turn you in i have your number and he insisted he wasnt the guy i talked to and it was him he spoke with an accent forienger so today i get a call from new york with a dirreent number the number was 646-560-4497 he goes you called a while back about your computer i go no i didnt and hung up on him he called twice i know its the same guy that went in my computer which i reported to facebook if they even care so fed up with this stuff, be ware of these creeps facebook does not have tech support. -

over 6 calls around 4:42AM this morning on two lines on my work phone. No one answered when I picked up, no breathing, etc. I was woken up by the ring, though. I'm going to be making a few calls today; Whoever these people are, they picked the wrong person to harass. I will update this site if I receive anymore calls. To anyone wondering, NO this number is NOT legit! It is not normal to get calls around 5am in the morning for any reason except an emergency.

I just received a call from this number at my office. The person on the other end was a young female who sounded as if she had just learned to read weeks ago. She asked me if she had reached my company by name and I said yes and asked how I could assist her. She began to tell me that she was calling from the Chamber of Commerce and they were updating their records. She then asked if two of our former employees (both of which had names that she struggled to pronounce correctly) still worked there and I told her no. Before she could continue going down her ancient list of employees, I stopped her and asked which Chamber of Commerce she was calling from, since we do currently belong to a few chambers. She quickly snapped back "The American Chamber of Commerce!" At that point I basically told her to please remove us from their list and do not call back. After searching the phone number online, it seams as if it is a call center for some internet security scam.
