Recieved a phone call tonight at 20:55 and was introduced to a man with a thick accent whom had difficulty speaking English. Talked to me about opportunity to get into the international stock market. Simply told him that I already had a portfolio and was satisfied with the current company that I was using (Which I have none of). He seemed relieved that I wasn't interest but did try to direct me to a website through the phone. But he knew that I was already on the computer

They called me out of the blue at 1755 on the 8th September 2016 (which is very odd, as it was 0355 Toronto time). (My timezone is 14 hours ahead of them at the time of writing).
I don't know anyone with a 416/437/647 area code (which is central Toronto). They didn't talk when I answered the phone. It seems untrustworthy to me. -

I have the advantage of NOT using my real name of facebook - which is how I know they are getting my calling details and phone number (not publicly listed on my facebook page) from there.
These people are either hacking facebook for your details or facebook is selling it too them. DO NOT TRUST. -

Had a call from a women with an American sounding accent. She identified herself but due to the delay and noise in the background I only caught that she was the account manager for Jade Marketing Ltd. I told her it wasn't a good time as I was at work and she will phone me back after 5pm. I thought the caller ID number seemed strange hence me being directed to here. She knew my name too.

Was called by someone who didn't identify themselves. Could hear it was a telemarketing type environment in background. Was asked my name, and when I responded yes, the caller thanked me and hung up. I presume this was to identify me before I get a follow up call...
