I have a boat for sale. He texted me saying he was interested in buying it, but had no time to come and meet. He would need our name and address so he could send a check. He would have someone pick up the boat after the check would have been cleared. After I looked up the pone number on the internet I noticed the many complaints and people calling it a scam.

This number hit me up about my mustang said he didn't have time to come inspect it and would pay me my asking price witch was 6500 like it was no big deal said he needed a paypal account to send me the money but I didn't have one so I called my boss and asked if I could use his my boss is seasond and imitatly told me it was a scam I'm young and married and needed the money for a sub for my family it's terrible that there are people like this if my boss hadn't of told me it was a scam if be screwed

Called me when I placed a car for sale on KSL.com. Asked to purchase the car for asking price but couldn't pick it up personally. Said a "picker" would take possession and asked if I would take Paypal. Seemed fishy so I googled the phone number and came to this website. Learned of the previous scams so here I am.

Trying to buy a car using pay pal. Wouldn't accept that a third party would broker the deal.
Wanted to deal with the owner directly, when made to understand that the deal would only be done through a third party, no further texts.
