Described very quickly it was a 'market research' call. Asked me my age which I answered, asked me the state I live which I answered, I did not answer the next question on what ZIP code I live in. I asked him what company he was calling from. He seemed unsure and seemed to have to check. Said something like SRS "Science Research Social" which I googled live while talking to him. I told him I don't see anything like that in google results....then he kept asking me questions and wouldn't tell me what the next questions were. I hung up. I don't like answering questions on the phone with strangers!! A real caller would know exactly what company he is calling from and give me a quick URL to the website to check it out. (But even that could be flawed...) but oh well.

Called, didn't recognize the number so I immediately blocked them on my cell...I have a LOOOONG list of calls I've blocked! No voicemail left...I shoulda read the post from the person who said someone with this number claimed to have Kidnapped her child...very scary! Though I might have answered this call if I knew they wanted to steal children, I have one very feisty autistic adult child who was driving me crazy...I'm sure they'd pay me to take him back. Just joking!! In all seriousness, that's very scary and I hope they found out the sicko who tormented this poor family.

Call was described as market research, however I believe it was political. Some medical questions were asked (health insurance status, any health issues - most likely used to generate new question catagories to create a better demographic), standard demographic questions (rent or own, age catagory, marrital status, ...) then questions became religious and political. Final question was if a reporter could contact me regarding the survey and responses.

Has been calling every hour since yesterday. At first I ignored the calls, I don't answer to unknown numbers. I then answered after the 3Rd call thinking it was an emergency call from a relative or something. There was no response. They called again today at 1:45 and every hour there on. This is crazy!!!

I just was phoned about an 4 hours ago from this number after hours of hang up calls the caller finally spoke And told me they kidnapped my youngest child my husband called 911 off of his cell phone while I kept the disgusting man on the phone. My child was home in bed sleeping and other kids home as well my house was swarmed with police officials and later on FBI agents who ever this person is calling is not a telemarketer and a devise was put on my phone and my phone company came out to my home in a flash after the FBI showed up. They put some type of device on my phone and told me to use my cell phone for private calls. Who ever you are I hope you get caught !

They called me twice over a few days before I picked up yesterday. They asked for my sister, whom has a different last name from me and lives in a different state and I am not very close with. I just told them they have the wrong number and they hung up. Still don't know why they called or how they got my number.

I got a call from this number this evening and didn't answer. I checked it out the internet and I was not surprised that it was yet another one of these scammers. What I am surprised about is the number of outraged people who are on the do not call list and still get these scam calls. Wake up folks! Where do you think the scammers get your number from?? Just pause for one moment and think about the process of the DNC list. You put your number on the list. A merchant wishes to sell you something but they want to do it legally so they should find out if your number is on the DNC list so that they don't get in trouble. How would they find out if your number is on the DNC list, you might ask? They would check the list. Ta Da! Do they have to be a reputable, law abiding merchant or could they be a scammer who was looking for a ready list of real, live phone numbers? What's your best guess?

Had received no less than 6 calls from this number. Here's some advice:
DO NOT ANSWER IF YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE CALL. Caller ID makes this an easy task.
IF YOU ANSWER, LOSING YOUR TEMPER WILL NOT WORK - DEATH THREATS WILL GET YOU IN HOT WATER. Whoever calls is legally allowed one chance at contact, whereupon you tell them only "Please put me on your do not call list" Say ONLY that and nothing else. NOTHING ELSE!
GET YOUR NUMBER REGISTERED ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. When was the last time you did this? If it was over a year ago, you will need to do it again. I do this at least twice a year.

This number called three time today starting after 7:30 PM. No message just a hang up. This is typical, we get on average 5 robo, sales and scam calls a day. No call list do not work. When they do answer I tell them that the person they are calling are dead.

These people called my cell. I declined the call but then called it back. It's a "public opinion poll", without an option to speak to someone or remove your number. Be very wary of these calls, especially to your cell. I thought cell phones had a certain amount of expected privacy????

702-815-2394 / Caller rang me, and I asked if she was aware of us being on the no call list. She said it was her job to call, and they don't have to pay attention to do not call lists. Brittany, the caller, proceeded to be rude and condescending, making fun of our requests to not be called. She did not respond to our requests to be taken off of the list, and instead played childish phone games, like she thought it was funny to get us all upset, calling us at home, even though we clearly stated we do not want to be called. The caller was so rude, I had to give the phone to my wife, because the caller proceeded to make fun of me, for not wanting to be called at home. No kidding, most upsetting call of the month. Just awful. Please help with unwanted callers, salesmen, political, opinion based, or otherwise. My opinion, in case anyone is interested, IS THAT I DO NOT WANT TO BE CALLED AT HOME BY STRANGERS! NEVER EVER EVER. Recorded the call, and submitted to AG. I will kill a stranger who calls my kids and talks to them this way, they're lucky they ran into me instead. If I would have learned about them talking this way to my children, I would have mobilized and hurt someone. This is not a funny game, these phone people are playing. Someone is going to get hurt, eventually.

FYI concerned citizen is a spam caller. This is why he / she is immediately on the defensive. Just a bottom feeder trolling the boards where his / her organization is outed.
If this happens in the future, if on a smartphone, direct the phone to automatically reject calls from that number in the future. But for the existing call, either lay the phone down in another room and let them blab away at empty space, or put the phone on conference call and crank up some internet porn to pass your time while they waste theirs. This would be rude on any ordinary call, but these people, devoid of courtesy themselves, deserve no courtesy from you.
Be careful about recording phone calls. You want to make sure you are on the right side of all applicable laws, because the consequences of recording in violation of some laws can be devastating.
