Called saying they are from the social security admin office. That there has been fraudulent activity with my social security number they are going to cancel it. That I can be arrested as well.

Same story as the others, they left a voicemail that was a recording, stating that they are the social security administration and I can be arrested if I don't call them back with all of my info. What a ridiculous joke.

Threatened to have me arrested if I don’t call them and give them my SSN and other info, over the phone. They claimed to be the Social Security Administration but they are NEVER to ask you for personal information, over the phone.

i was targeted and threatened with arrest for social security fraud. i was given the option of pressing 1 for more information. at this point i hung it up and looked up this phone number on the web.
