This number called me 3 times at 3:43am, 1 time at 4:12am, and then 6 times at 4:13am, my phone was on silent so I didnt get any of them. My phone let the first one ring but the rest of them it blocked as spam. No clue who it was, but it my sound on my phone was on..... I would have been upset waking me up that early.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who received a strange call like that! I had pretty much the same experience as Rodney - just had a call from this number and a recorded message asked if I would accept the charges for a call from an inmate of Orange County Central Jail. I declined, because I don't know anyone in jail and hung up. But I would like to know who is really calling or how they got my number!

I have recently received a call from this number. An automated message asked me whether I would accept the charges for a call from Orange County Central Jail. I don't know anyone in that jail - or hell, jail at all. So I hung up, but that doesn't explain why I got the call or how they got my number. It's kind of freaky to think that an inmate knows my number...

Someone may have had your phone number before. Now it's going to get complicated here. An inmate usually doesn't enter a jail with his phone or roledex. So he dials a number that he remembers. Which could be a friend or relative that may have switched phone providers or gotten a new phone. So, don't worry I don't think the inmates are out to get you.
