OK I just have to forward my latest findings. I have recently seen this other post from Sarah as I too received calls from this number which appears to be belong to Portfolio Recovery. I am just wondering why everyone knows them to be no good? I must be honest, I haven't had a conversation with them yet. Maybe they have good reason to be on my back for the last week. Who knows. I would like to share what I found on top of this page when I was running a google search. There are lawyers who are willing to represent you in suing them for their threatening service?!

I think this is a debt collector calling me constantly by other numbers as well. And when I research these other numbers, they always are affiliated with Portfolio Recovery Assoc. A debt collector who purchases old debts , and tries to use harassment, threats, etc. to collect on debt that was never owed to THEIR company.
