My mother got one of these phone calls recently. I remember stopping her in her tracks because I caught her half way through reading her card details over the phone. Luckily I stopped her you know. My mom is elderly but she is sharp enough to know she can make a simple transaction via her visa óver the phone funnily enough. She explained to me that she received a phone call from this company offering free trial bottles of Garcinia cambogia for the first 3 months, excluding delivery, which is what the card details were for I guess. To cover the postage. Here is your warning ladies and gents, these companies are ripping of Americans. We have two factors that are very wrong with this. First we have the financial issue - is this a scam? is there in fact a company producing these pills? If so, how effective is it? And secondly we must address the health issue. Weight isn't resolved by popping a couple of pills. Where is the focus on healthy living. I am disgusted in this operation on which ever side it falls. Avoid buying into cold callers!

I got a call from this company asking me how much weight I wanted to lose. I am quite skinny and was pretty surprised. So my response was "none why?" She responded saying the company wanted to send me some weight loss medication worth a month for free, and that all I would have to do would be to pay for the shipping. She then asked how I would like to pay. i informed her I would not be giving my credit card details to a suspicious company as theirs nor will I be making any kind of payment as I don't need any of the weight loss medication. She was quick to hang up. All they really want are an individuals financial details it seems.
