We received a call claiming to be our electric company and they directed us to this number to handle the account in order to prevent shut off of our meter. They demanded a deposit of $2,498.64 in order to stop shut off and have our meter checked. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. they will claim legal notice was sent, that the notice will appear on your bill. All of this is fake. We never received notice, it is not on our bill and if our meter was legitimately tampered with it would not be handled in this manner. This is a very organized scam.
