Received a call on a number that is new to me. VM included last 4 digits of my debit card. I called WF and they had no record of anything being flagged and had the date the last time something was suspicious. While I was glad WF was thorough in checking my account, the representative didn't seem too concerned about the suspicious call.

Company said they're calling from Wells Fargo regarding recent activity on your account and possible fradulent charges. Then, they called me at work it was an automated system trying to verify they have right number I just hung up.

I received a call from this number and they left a voicemail claiming to be Wells Fargo Bank and saying that there had been some fraudulent changes on my account. I called Wells Fargo back directly and they confirmed that this number is NOT a Wells Fargo number and it IS a phishing number. DO NOT give out any information to these people, they are looking to obtain your account info!!!!

Wels Fargo confirmed that is actually a legit number of the company. But since that number asks you for personal credit card information I would be really careful about what to tell them and what not. Better calling them than getting called if you really have to do business with them.

I called Wells Fargo, this is legit as they declined something on my card. Once speaking with them the transaction was processed.

Do not call this number. They are total scammers pretending to be Wells Fargo. If you get any calls claiming to be a bank, credit card Etc, call the number on the back of your card and not a number left on a voice message. These pathetic people are scammers and thieves.
