tired of scam reported number 8009001380 as Penn Credit
someone at this number called and left a message to call back about a business deal. They would not identify themselves and I have no business deals as I am retired and living in Florida and am 86 years old. Sounds like a scam which I often get. Someone told me those scammers get any name out of the phone book that has a resembence to another person and then robo calls all these numbers hoping to trick some one.

+18009001380 number called me. Asked to verify my info from Florida. When I didnt give them my info and kept asking what debt are you trying ti collect they inored me ending up hanging up on me. You dont have to give anything unless the confirm after finding out who you are. I repeat dont give them any info.

Refused to say anything until I give them my address! I did not, I would not until they tell me who they are. The woman said it’s regarding personal matter , I then requested more info which she states ; they are a collection agency!

Called me, somehow they had my first and last name, wanted me to tell em my address so they can discuss a personal matter! I asked 10 times who they are and what they want, they said a collection agency but didn’t wanted to give me more information until i give all my personal info! Well I know for a fact that i have no debt at all and i was sure it’s a scam even without em giving me any more info

I get calls from 800-900-1380 every day to my land line, 3 times a day, every day even Sundays and Holidays, starting at 8:05am and ending at 8:55pm, I answer, say hello, and there's no-one on the line so I hang up, the Caller ID always shows "UNKNOWN NAME 800-900-1380". My phone is too old or I would block them.

CHICAGO —3-19-19 Federal prosecutors say the owner of a Harrisburg debt collection company faces charges he tried to bribe county clerks in Illinois and Florida to obtain business from their offices.
Prosecutors said Friday that Penn Credit Corp. owner Donald Donagher Jr. has been indicted on six counts. Officials accuse the 67-year-old of trying to make payments to influence the Cook County Circuit Court Clerk along with three Florida county clerks.
Prosecutors accuse Donagher of making campaign donations, financially sponsoring events and providing free or discounted robocalls on behalf of certain clerks’ campaign.
Cook County Clerk Dorothy Brown’s spokeswoman says Donagher never approached Brown or her office “improperly in any way or at any time.” Donagher’s attorney, Theodore Poulos, says his client “acted legally and in good faith” and the allegations are false.

I saw number on my ID caller on TV. It said Penn Credit Co. I called it 1 time there was no ring no nothing. Hung up Call it again no ring no nothing just silence. I called it on my cell phone same silence nothing. I have paid all my debts off. So they better not start anything with me. I shut my land line off any more. I watch my Id caller on TV to see if I know who it is.

Numerous automated calls from them left on voice mail. There were 2 types from them. One said it was for a person who doesn't live here. The 2nd type was more annoying because the voice mail didn't leave any information of who was calling or a number to call - just that they had some personal information. I don't have caller id so it required me tracking the number that called based on time of call through my phone provider. When I called and told them that person doesn't live here, they told me they would remove my number.

Called saying I owed $75 but would not say who from. Demanded payment within 5 days. Claimed that I lived in Novi, Michigan, which I NEVER have. Demanded the last 4 of my social security. I refused to give that over the phone. I screamed at the lady to never to call me again!!
