very rude and threatening voicemails. I called back and they claim to be the IRS. They indicate there is an arrest warrant. Strong Indian accent. Gave warrant numbers, badge #, officer name. threatened to garnish wages. Do not give them any personal info.

Indian speaking person said they worked for the IRS.I'm very familiar with how the IRS conducts business, went along with the call as I thought it was legit until the guy couldnot recite my address or tax id number, idiot!

These guys change their phone number often, but it's the same old scam. It's someone with a foreign accent (Indian/Pakistani?) who claims to be an agent with the IRS. leave a message saying:
"Thees is agent so-and-so weeth dee IRS. You are guilty of having committed a tax frad. This has been committed in your name. We have referred this matter to the Federal court house. Now before we issue a warrant for your arrest, we need you to call this number immediately, 804-368-6238 (or whatever number they're operating from today)."
The message changes a little here and there, but it's the same douchebags trying to act intimidating. They're a complete joke, pathetic scumbags who aren't even good at what they do. These guys are a waste of good oxygen and space. They claim to be the IRS indicating I did not file my tax returns and have committed fraud. That I owe money and to call them. I received THREE calls in the course of 2 hours. Complete SCAM.

IRS recorded message... SCAM. I returned the call and the same voice that left the 'recorded message' answered the phone. Not likely, if it really is the IRS. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

left message stating he was with the IRS and that I was gong to have legal action taken against me if I didn't return the call immediately - when I can the 3 back it no one answered then just picked up the phone and hung up .

got the call its started two days ago saying there was an arrest warrant for unpaid taxes , that if i didn't respond the police would be coming to arrest me and my son, they was very rude on the phone and told me if i didn't pay $11,769 in the next 45 minuets that my bank account would be froze and car taken and my Credit card frozen, i was told not to talk to anyone at any time or they would take my home to, as i have not worked in 20 years as i am Disable, my son as files taxes for us both and count's me as a dependent the men went on to say as i am a retired police office that they would take 15% of the %11,769 he ask me to get all my credit card and go to wal mart but not to hang up the phone or the police would be at my door and he would issue the warrants for my son and i, he told me to get dressed but keep on the line , he said the IRS had sent me two letters witch i did not get, if we files our taxes wrong from back in 2008 up to 2015 and that i was the primary witch i had not files as i said in 20 years i had to get dress to go to wal mart all the time thinking this is not right why would he say i only have 45 minuets and for me to stay on the phone if i have receive letter from the IRS i would have called them to ask what was going on so i asked him if i get letters from the IRS it would have to have been verified mail and if i wasn't at home the postman would have left a card on the door for me to go to the post office and pick up my letters witch i didn't get any,as i am 65 years old with a heart condition i was getting very up set, i got so mad i told him you do what you have to do as i don't believe it and im going to the police station right now, he then shouted and said don't speak to the police you cant speak to anyone about it so i told him well I"M going do what i feel and you do as you feel and its a scam and he hang up the phone i went to the police and they told me the same thing its a scam, and that i was lucky to have called there bluff, im going up to the IRS in the Morning to report it, my son owes Taxes but we pay $100.00 per month if we owed anymore i think from 2008 i would have been told as i have been talking to the IRS for the last 3 years

There is a lawsuit to be prosecuted against your name without the need of trial on account of fraudulent or no tax filing and to know your tax outstanding, contact our audit department at 804-368-6238 before any legal actions are taken to forcefully recover the amount unpaid.
