This is a sophisticated robocall that is trying to get you to press 1 or 2 to get you to a scammer to speak with them in person. First there is a voice recording, followed by attempts to get you to press 1 or 2. At the beginning of the recording/robocall, it sounds like you are listening to part of a legitimate message being left for someone by a friend. Recording begins "Hey. You know the one that actually stood up? If you're feeling up to it, leave me a message but if you really want to get ahold of me, shoot me a text and if you really want me to respond to that text, just tell me I'm pretty. Compliment me on my slightly above average manliness or just tell me there's a cat stuck in a tree and you need my help. What can I say I'm an animal lover. Either way I look forward to getting in touch connecting and catching up with you and don't forget before you leave. I love you." At this point you will hear a (fake) answering machine stating: AT THE TONE PLEASE RECORD YOUR MESSAGE. WHEN YOU'VE FINISHED RECORDING YOU MAY HANG UP OR PRESS 1 FOR MORE OPTIONS. BEEP (silence, then recording continues) We didn't get your message either because you were not speaking or because of a bad connection. To disconnect, press 1. To record your message, press 2.
