This woman said she was the billing number of the Swedish Hosp Center and she wanted my birth-date. I am in Maryland on the East coast. The Swedish Hosp Center is in Oregon and Washington State on the West coast of the USA. I have never been there in my life! This is a scam for identity theft. They target elderly people. They already have your name and phone number from the internet. They want your birth-date and to verify your address so they can commit identity theft.Once she knew I was a lucid, intelligent elderly person, she told me she miss-dialed and made a mistake. Don't give these people any info under any circumstances. It is a scam and beware of the 844 area code, it is used for scam calls.
