   I'm fed up. I told them straight out take my # off their list but ther still call.
   
   My phone is a house phone. Vonage sadly doesn't have the feature that allows individual numbers to be placed to be blocked.

The objective of our call is to gather your opinion on an array of important issues facing our nation. So a representative direction can be set for both American government and businesses entities. We understand that some individuals do not wish to have their opinions to factored into such decisions and consequently would like to be placed on our internal Do Not Call List. If you wish to be placed on this list, please press 1. Otherwise please have a great day!" A recording sound then beeps in.

   For those with Android devices your so much better off in being able to prevent repeat calls. For those with iPhone I recommend using FREE app YouMail.com to ditch calls. For calls made to Landline, I subscribe to nomorobo.com The call rang once and the free service endorsed by FTC 2013 award prevented the illegal telemarketing call from being answered by me or by voice mail as a hang-up. Call centers invoice the carriers through monthly tariffs for connecting calls either answered by your voice mail or a human being ... Reason why majority of calls are hang-ups!

   Received a call from 844-838-7848 on 08/20/2014 at 6:18 PM, caller name ID read as "Tollfree Caller." They did not leave a message and I was curious so I redialed the number. This is the IVR recording that I heard:
   
   “You have reached a market research organization which operates in full compliance of all Federal and State Do Not Call legislation. We apologize for any inconvenience our call has been for you, but assure you that we are not selling anything nor soliciting for any donations. The objective of our call is to gather your opinion on an array of important issues facing our nation so that a representative direction can be set for both American Government and business entities. We understand that some individuals do not wish to have their opinions factored into such decisions, and consequently would like to be placed on our internal do not call list. If you wish to be placed on this list, please press 1. Otherwise have a great day. Our internal do not call list will take three to five business days to be registered. During this time you may receive calls from one of our call centers. This list is entirely separate from any national or state sponsored do not call lists and is maintained exclusively by our organization.
