Dave reported Imposters scam with the number 8623329009 as Telemarketer
Just call a call from this number, came up on phone as potential spam, answered it anyway. All I got was some guy who said:
"Hello? Hold on, my bluetooth isn't working right. Hello? It must be my bluetooth, give me 1 second."
Then it hung up on me. No name, no company info, nothing. Just my bluetooth isn't working and no call back from them.
I literally just watched a Patton Oswalt comedy special on Netflix where he talks about receiving robocalls from telemarketers that start off just like that. Where even the part about "my headset isn't working" is part of the recorded call before it goes and transfers you over to someone else. All to make you think you are dealing with a real person.
I've gone and blocked the number now.
