I'm a Telus customer. I got a call from this number last night and answered it. They were calling to offer me a promotional offer (free add-on for 3 months) on my Telus account.

I accepted the offer and the add-on is now on my account.

I asked the caller where they were calling from. He advised he was in New Delhi, India and that he works for a 3rd party outbound call centre that is contracted by Telus.

If they call you, answer the phone, you might get something for free. In this case, I got a 100mb data plan on 2 lines on my account for free for 3 months. We don't subscribe to data plans otherwise.

Have gotten a call from this number on my cell phone every afternoon for the past five days. Answered twice, no one there. I don't give out my cell number. This is spam and yes, this is definitely TELUS. I phoned their 888 number and asked why they were calling me persistently in spite of the fact I am not answering. He told me that it was likely to inform me of a new plan and to try and get me to change. Since no one has my cell number and I only use it for 911 calls

Please accept my apologies for being a bottom feeding liar. I have a drug problem that forces me to behave like a lying dirtbag and I am sorry.
