Got in touch with my local police department after getting a call from "Genpact". According to the police it is a fake company-not authorized or approved to do debt collection, and the best response is to answer their call, say yes/confirm when they say who they are calling for, then after that only say "You are a fake company and I do not consent to being recorded." Keep repeating that exact phrase when they ask/say anything. If enough people do it the police can go after them for violating wiretapping laws with a massive stack of evidence-collected by the criminals themselves.
