I have had calls from Verizon regarding my account and they always leave some vague voice-mail, requesting I call them back. they do not call everyday monday-Saturday 1-2 times a day. this phone number does, never leaves a voice-mail. I've autorejected this number, it is a scam.

Lady called my cell phone saying she was "Verizon Wireless" asked for wrong person and I told her it was the wrong number. This number called several times without leaving a message before I picked up. Since I know my account is in good standing with Verizon and I would know if there was a problem because I have text alert, I believe this is an untrustworthy scammer. I blocked the caller.

I spoke with Verizon (called the customer service number on the website) and told them I received a call from this number that I thought was suspicious because they called me and asked for my account password. They confirmed that number is their "Loyalty Team Department" and was actually a legitimate call from Verizon. The Verizon representative also stated that she spoke to someone in that department and they confirmed that they had called me. I still think it is weird for someone to call me and ask for my account password though. Even with Verizon confirming it I still don't feel like I am comfortable with the whole situation and probably still won't talk to them if they call back.

Claim to be Verizon wanting to review my account so I get the best quality for my payment. Told them I would go in and do this in person. They thanked me and hung up. They have called every day since then, which was May 12 and it's May 27 today. Verizon would not repeatedly call a customer whose money they already have. I have now blocked their number.

Caller offered to upgrade me from 6GB to 10GB with no contract changes, no additional fees. I said 'yes'. Afterward I checked this site and worried that I was scammed. I called Verizon and they confirmed it was, in fact, their office and it was a legitimate offer.

I just received a call from this number. The operator claimed she was calling on behalf of Verizon and asked to speak to my husband. I said he wasn't available and she asked to speak with someone else on the account, which would be me. The account was mine before we married three years ago, so I know my name is on it. She said my husband didn't have anyone else on the account and wanted to give me a number for him to call to "optimize" his account because he was such a loyal customer. I told her I knew she wasn't calling from Verizon because I am also on the account and told her not to call back. Definitely not/not Verizon. In the DC area, where we live, the call from a 410 area code.

I answered, oneil was the man on the other end. oneil said he represented Verizon and could save me 20 bucks off my data plan. oneil reassured me he was looking at my account, all he needed was my payment method and a few numbers. I told oneil he could go f$@& himself and I hung up.

This number keeps calling me saying they are from Verizon and that in return for being a loyal customer they want to give us extra data per month "but I can't read you the terms of service unless you give me the last 4 digits of the account holder's SSN or your password" (the second of which comes off as extremely unusual). I said that even though I'm an authorized account user I did not have that info on me. By what I've read after searching for this number, it's a scam, and they have called themselves more than just Verizon in the past.

This woman Susan claimed to be calling on behalf of Verizon but she didnt actually give me HER company name. She was actually quite abrupt with me and rude.. I was in the middle of nursing and doing a million other things. SORRY IF I DON'T FEEL LIKE GIVING OUT MY DETAILS WITHOUT SOME QUESTIONS FIRST. Anyways I terminated the phone call because I was too flustered. But some people, if you work on behalf of a major company such as Verizon, you'd think you would work on the customer service a little bit. I welcome customer service because I was one of those people sitting behind the desk and computer with headphones and mic. So I do welcome it when it is done well and I will sure give the deserving praise. Not when I feel badgered without even properly letting me know WHO YOU ARE AND WHY YOU'RE CALLING.

Says they're Verizon, but they are not Verizon. They're very aggressive salesmen who won't stop calling early in the morning or late at night, 9 pm. A reputable company doesn't call at those kind of hours and certainly doesn't push you to stay on the line to take a "survey" or answer questions. This is a SCAM! Buyer beware.
