Investigator Matthew reported Imposters scam with the number 8777250802 as Sweepstakes, lottery
Tuesday April the 27th 2021.I received a phone call that wasn't under my spam and picked it up, a lady (either American or Canadian sounding) said is this (my last name) I answered yes, and she said have you been getting calls from Jamaica or other spam calls lately. I said no as my phone automatically blocks spam calls. She said well we recently got notification from the lottery business bureau that they have sent out a notification that you won over 3 weeks ago and that you haven't sent anything back. I said I haven't received anything from them. She said would you like to proceed with the case to get your winnings. I replied no and she hung up. I don't do lotteries at all btw, I ended up looking up the number and it was under a toll free imposter phone call about lottery and related stuff.
