Quick Brown Fox reported unknown with the number +18881532586 as Cost trap
At least the 10th unwanted call from this invalid (spoofed) toll-free number arrived today, just 1 week since the 9th unwanted call on July 11. Once again, when the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) often spoof their numbers to cover their tracks while trolling the phone lines, seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
The caller is reported to be an out-of-work contractor (probably unlicensed), based in Beverly Hills with the phone number (424) 777-9271, and using various phony names. Whether it's scam home improvement contractors, scam police charities, scam solar energy vendors, scam vacation giveaways, scam credit card services, scam HVAC contractors, scam computer repair technicians, scam IRS impersonators, or other assorted fraudsters, A SCAM IS A SCAM IS A SCAM! -

This number called me...at 10:43AM Tuesday. The man in an upbeat manner said, "how ya doin'"? I said "fine, how can I help you"? He launched right into this: my guys are finishing up a job in Tustin near the jewelry mart, we can handle any thing that needs to be done around the house, what would you like done today? I said, well that's a weird way to market yourself, you haven't identified you or your company. He said, that's me, maam, I'm a weird guy! I said, well that certainly doesn't inspire confidence in me allowing you into my home. Your number ID is strange and you are VERY pushy & assumptive...this doesn't seem like good marketing to me... He cut me off and said thank you and hung up. This COULD be a legit business but I just thought this was strange.
