Received a call from number did not answer. They left VM claiming to be from a “litigation company “ with a call back number. That number was no longer in service. Called the original number. Talked to 2 people plus the VM person all 3 English is not their first language. Said they tried to serve us legal docs because we are being sued $6K ( same amount Credit Karma says we are eligible for in a personal loan, interesting!), for breach of contract from a bank account we had 17 years ago in another state. Our current county DA is prosecuting. Seems legit! I asked more questions and it became apparent to them I wasn’t falling for their BS so they just hung up.
