Caller said my furnace was due for free inspection (gas valves, filters, etc), and he wanted to verify my information on file. I was a bit alarmed since he did mention a date in which my HVAC unit was actually installed -- but it wasn't by him/them!!

An unwanted call from this Crestline VOIP number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Posters report the perpetrator is Quality Air, another alleged scam HVAC contractor (probably unlicensed). Whether it's air duct cleaning, home improvements, credit cards, vacation giveaways, computer repairs, or the IRS, A SCAM IS A SCAM IS A SCAM!
