This annoying company has recently begun calling my home, rudely demanding to speak with my sister - someone who has never lived even in the state I live in. My sister (with whom I haven't spoken in 2 years) doesn't have my non-listed and non-public phone number, and yet the idiotic debt collector insists that my home phone number is the one they were given.
Even if that were remotely possible, attempting to collect a debt from *me* for my sister's debt is illegal. Attempting to harass me for her debt is equally illegal.
Obviously, this company cares nothing about legality, customer service, customers in general.
Their current nonsense has angered me so much that I'm cancelling any account that I have with their company. IT may not mean much to their bottom line, but it makes me feel better.Mary replied 2/16/15, 11:55 AMi dont mean to be rude but have you checked you credit report recently? The same thing happen to me until i checked my credit report and found out my sister used my social security number to open credit cards with her name. Need to check your credit report AND even if no new accounts, look toward the bottom for any inquiries that you didnt initiate and any addresses that are not and have never been yours. Report to police immediately. Those are the addresses theives want the loan checks or credit cards mailed to. The federal marshals came to my door looking for my sister who used her name but my address. Her info and stated she was president of my company. She had even faked paychecks. It was a mess that took months to fix. I hadnt spoken to her in over 5 years. Still dont. People are crazy. -

This is Synchrony Financial, who service many credit card and other credit products. They are a subsidiary or affiliate of PayPal, who is all owned by GE Capital Bank.
I was less than 30 days late for my monthly payment (my first overdue) because I was traveling for the whole month during the due date. I figured it's only one month, I'll pay them when I do my bills next time.
Cue the incessant and repeated phone calls at all hours of the day. 17 timees in one day! They hang up and don't leave any message. BLOCKED!
I will be paying off this credit card as soon as possible, because I don't like this company. -

The latter will leave message on my answering device..the former will not.just sayin' -

I don't care what name these shysters are hiding behind.. I do not have an account with them and never will. This is outright harassment and it needs to stop. Every single day for the last 4 days and about the same time their robo-callers call my phone and don't leave a message.

this number has been calling me day in and day out....morning, noon, and night....i answered twice and no one would say anything. well the third time i answered they didnt say anything and they hung up, but my phone automatically after the hang up dialed back....how it this possible?

Calls only on Sundays. Wants credit card number or Social Security number. I was recently scammed by another scammer located in california. Thank God I am learning my lesson. Never will I give out information again!!!

I keep getting a call from this phone # and they leave a voice mail with a name of a bank that I can't make out. They do not give a reason for their call and it is an automated message.

Its GE Capital, cant remember there new name. You are behind on Credit Card with them. For me its Care Credit, but they own a lot.
