This person claims to be working for the Social Security Office in Torrance CA. They send you a letter with an interview time for a ‘review’. The letter looks like an actual Social Security letter. Then at the appointed time this person calls. Something felt wrong. I see now there have changed my direct information. DO NOT TRUST THE SCAMMERS.

I called our local Social Security office for some information. I had called previously and spoke with a representative, so I know it was a valid phone number. I called again a few days later, but due to a long wait to speak with a representative, I had to scheduled a return call for a particular date in the future - which did occur on the scheduled date. A few days afterwards, the documents we requested were delivered to us via USPS.
