Guardian I record all telemarketers reported Burial insurance scam with the number +14582180685 as Aggressive advertising
Same foreign telemarketer cold call group who has now called 519 times since 08/11/23 using different numbers (I keep a full record w/dates & times, many calls also recorded w/some posted on YouTube (google: v3 YouTube telemarketer, mine is 1st). They screen the calls then xfer to US companies, of which I have exposed two: One Digital (312-756-8874) Clear Link (801-424-0018) &AJT Diabetic (888-391-3341).
This call used an IVR (computer) who went by Chris & went on about burial insurance. It then xferred to the overseas person who quickly disconnected, but I still told him to stop calling. It then went to dead air for about 2min before stating I was kicked from the conference. They often call posing as a cable company, Medicare & other Govt offices, banks (fraud dept scam), or selling health insurance, car warranties, solar panels, accident claims, loan scams, free internet deals, etc. They have been told to stop calling 100’s of times, but they don’t care. My phone svc already had this flagged as a spam call.
Other complaints online show this # also used for get rich quick scams (see https://directory.youmail.com/phone/458-218-0685): “Hello I'd like you to take a moment and stop everything you're doing because what you're about to hear in the next minute or so you can totally change your life as it has done for me and countless others so to formally accept our invitation to listening to this life changing message please press the number five on your telephone keypad now. Or if you were satisfied making all the money you want to be making. You can press number seven to decline this invitation. Again press the number five to listen to this invitation only lucrative opportunity.”
Computer call (IVR) for funeral/burial insurance. Number also reported as being used in get rich quick scams.
Calling the number back just hangs as dead air for about a minute then plays recording stating number could not be connected.
