Very bad connection, Indian-sounding guy telling me he is from Microsoft and that there is a problem with my computer. When I tell him I have an Apple computer, he'll disconnect and call me back a few hours later.

Eine englisch sprechende Frau mit asiatischem (?) Akzent behauptete, mein Rechner wäre infiziert und würde Angriffe auf fremde netzwerke unternehmen. Sie wäre von Microsoft und ich solle meinen Rechner anschalten, damit ein Kollege sich aufschalten könne. Wenn ich das nixcht tun würde, würde mein Rechner bzw. das Betriebssystem gesperrt, ich können dann mit keiner meinen Rechner
mehr arbeiten.
Die Verbindung war sehr schlecht, es kann sein, dass ich Teile falsch verstanden habe. Nach 9 Minuten. in denen ich mich geweigert habe, meinen Rechner anzuschalten, hat sie einfach aufgelegt.

Same experience: Since 3 days I am called by this number 001524856985 in Amsterdam. I stop answering it.

I'm also in Amsterdam, have received 6 of these calls since yesterday. I wonder if it's a coincidence that we are both in Amsterdam... Maybe they somehow hacked some company or institution here and got our numbers that way.

@Bill @Jay Have received a lot of calls from the same number in the last week. 3 calls only today! Live in Woerden near Utrecht, so it is not just in Amsterdam. All very annoying, but I am afraid ther is nothing much we can do about it.
