   I am getting these calls daily now but most are from criminals pretending to be from Talk Talk, though the claims they make about wanting to sort out computer concerns are little different. They have got sophisticated enough to use a different (but non-existent) number each time, but occasionally they disguise themselves, as on this occasion, by their number being "withheld". These fake calls are recognisable because they begin with a lot of background noise, so I make a point of shouting "Hello" in the hope it disturbs the caller's hearing. This was another foreign-sounding woman who began by telling me there was a computer issue, so I told her to carry on with her speech. She wanted to know whether I used Windows, which was odd in itself. I responded by telling her to carry on with her speech as I was trying to waste as much of her time as she was wasting of mine. At this point she rang off, which pleased me as I really was busy. Other times I have kept these dangerous crooks talking for much longer. The sure way of getting serious long-lasting computer problems is to answer their questions and follow the instructions they give, as it is by this means that they infect, often with the result that will gain access to bank accounts.

   Took computer to a Indian phone shop in uk to get fixed, I then get calls from India to say turn on your f-ing computer you have been hacked.
   I then do months of investigating as my phone got bugged, these Asians following me around the Internet I use a ip sniper to see who kept hacking my phones - emails ect
   I came up with a name PRATIK PATEL lives in Newcastle upon Tyne is a computer specialist who makes applications for Microsoft and works also for a company who are based at Sunderland and has links with India , London , Newcastle , Sunderland and Microsoft ( an application builder & software manager

   Woman claiming from Microsoft bout a virus on my pc wanted me to go though the problem with her , l was about to go out, she is going phone me back so think l will have abit of fun with her !!!

   Fake computer virus scam. NOT a cost trap, they're just trying to get your card details using social engineering techniques.

   This was a guy claiming he was calling from Microsoft and he even told me that I gave him my number when I bought the computer. They want to access your computer to have some personal info and stole your money. Be careful, it´s a scam!
