I also responded to an advertisement on free cycle where they were advertising a laptop for free.. I basically got the same info as a previous comment above where I decided to google the number. This is clearly a scam and warn any one not to fall for it! This person is using different names for each person.. Her English is also a but suspect so look out for this and do t get caught out

I responded to an advertisement on Freecycle two days ago for a laptop for my hubby. Then yesterday I got an email (with this number attached) saying that this lady had now moved far away and she could still send me the laptop but under the condition that i pay for the courier fee of £35. Sounds a bit odd that she would just move all of a sudden when she knew she was giving her laptop away and would need to eventually send it.

I also replied to freecycle email. The lady was giving away a fish tank because she moved away as her husband has leukemia and not long to live( how could somebody lie like that)...name as Nicol Williams. I paid £35 in ukash to sky courier services(unknown) then they emailed to say I needed to pay another £100 as refundable insurance which I refuse to do.
