I got a call from this number when I was not home. On a whim I called it back and actually got a human... granted, a human who barely spoke english. He told me that I had been awarded a grant for $9000 that I would never have to pay back. When I told him that I Googled his number and all that came up were complaints of this being a scam, he got ballistic. He said he was going to talk to his boss and have my name and number posted all over the Web saying that I was a scam (???), I let him ramble on for some time until I told him he was ignorant and hung up on him.

Caller indicated that I had won 9,000.00. When asked why I had won this money his reply, in very poor English, was because I had no criminal record and I paid my taxes on time. They then said that the call would be recorded and that he needed to verify my information. I told them to call the next person on his list and hung up.
Kevin replied 10/14/14, 7:24 PMSame thing. Broken English. Nearly confrontational. I hung up, man called back trying to get me to go to a convenience store, get some card and put $175 on it to pay for state taxes of this grant. It is fake, and an attempt to defraud honest citizens.

Got a call from this number on my office line; man who spoke very broken English informed me that my name and phone number had been chosen to receive a 9K grant. (When asked what name, he gave the business name - mostly.) Asked him what call center he was calling from and he told me he wasn't in a call center but did give me the address 200 Independence Ave in DC
