   Answered the call since it was a local number only to hear a recorded message saying that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to learn more I should call the number back. Since I don't owe the IRS a penny (I do my own taxes and had them confirmed with a federal employee), I was extremely aggravated. I called back and someone with a thick foreign accent answered, and asked me what my phone number was because that's how they traced their records. I started asking questions and suddenly the call was disconnected. After that I called back again only to have the same thing happen when I started pressing the new representative. So I called a third time bent on finding out what the hell was going on. (Each representative's accent was thicker than the last). The person I talked to didn't disconnect the call but "wasn't able" to remove my number from the system, "wasn't able" to let me talk to a supervisor, and "wasn't allowed" to talk to the 'boss.' I informed him that the next time I received a call with such a bogus claim I would be calling the police. His response? "You can't, the police are helpless." He ended by asking me to speak to "*phlegm*." I told him that wasn't a real person and hung up. Don't give these people any information, or money. They are a complete scam and need jailed.

   The second representative answered my question of where he was located with an address in western Washington DC. I tried to verify this with the third representative who said that address wasn't right and the person who said that had lied. Completely dishonest.
