Called me using my maiden name saying there were allegations of check or bank fraud for me. and if i didn't want them to call my employment i needed to call them back at 214-504-2986 by end of business. not calling them back since i am positive its a scam.

Called me saying that I was going to be arrested for check fraud if I didn't pay by the close of business today. I asked for their name and address. I tried calling the property management company at the address they gave me and they had never heard of them. I then called my friend at my local sheriff office and they are going to look into it. Please do not give these people any information about you.

Calling regarding check fraud and threatening to contact employer to get information to issue court papers is a bunch of illegal crap. I called them and told them that and told the person answering the phone what they were doing was illegal. She did give a company name but I couldn't understand what she said. I asked how anyone there could live with themselves doing all this illegal activity and her answer was "oh it doesn't affect me." What type of people sign up to work for these places? It is illegal to threaten anyone with criminal prosecution for a payday loan and to threaten with check fraud. The payday loan companies do not do it and the companies that buy the debt sure as hell can't do it. It makes me furious and I have gotten more than 1 call from different locations about this. I told the person who answered the phone I was contacting the FBT, filing an FTC complaint and also contacting the attorney general.

2145042986 is a CRAP number. they called my home phone, mother's phone, cell phone and said i have a check fraud case and they will call my employer if i do not return the call. i called SEVERAL times
and no answer...only music and then connected to a john lucas. no company name, NOTHING...ONLY MUSIC. who does that?? SCAMMERS. THAT'S WHO! -

I just received a call and automated voicemail from phone number 214-504-2986 for Global Acquisition. I called the phone number back and a woman answered. I inquired about the purpose of the call and her name. I even offered to provide my name, but I wanted her work information (name, ID, etc). She declined. She began to say how it had been a long day and I would be served although she didn't have my name. Weird call??? I experienced an identify theft issue and thought it was pertaining to it, which I have a police report for the last 7 years. Don't trust this company and get info from them prior to providing any info. A matter of fact don't provide them with any info!!!

I received a voice message this afternoon. I was so afraid to told my husband someone must have taken my identify or wrote false chrckss. I contacted the back and everything was ok. The caller said my name like a robot & informed me that I will be severed papers and I must appear for court to defend allegations of check/bank fraud and to call this number (214) 504-2986 (location on my iPhone was for:
Mckinney, TX) I had to call that number before the end of the working day to stop. Criminal charges do not stop even if u called. The police don't even call u, they have the technology to find you & serve you. So I decided to research this number for one I have not been in Texas since 2012 & I never write checks! So this is horrible what the world is coming to. I will contact my local government because their are people don't believe them. -

This number called me this morning. Claiming bank Fraud and going to get a warrent. I called back the number 214-504-2986. I mainly called back for the company name. So everyone knows the woman answered and said "Global Acquistions".

They called my # with an automated voice asking for my brother! Same line about check. Fraud, calling his employer and a return cal is needed by end of business day. Spoke to a guy who sounds like he was right off the streets and refuse to give me name of company! Called again and the voice message said Lucas Jones! By the time I was done with this piece of trash he might be looking for protection from me! These people are trash low lives!!!

They keep doing that for the last 4 months. They claim I am going to get served with papers for check fraud and that I need to call them at 214-504-2986 by the end of the day or they will contact my employer. These people are crazy.

I guess it is scam. I received a message from an "outside caller" stating to call 214-504-2986 by the end of business day. "I was being charged with bank fraud and they will be contacting my employer to verify my employment status. How they get my data anyway?!

Got a phone call from this 214-504-2986 number, said I had committed bank fraud and they were going to take me to court, googled the number because I have used the same bank for the last 10 years with no problems.
Did not bother calling them back, this is the 3rd time they have called me. Do not bother calling them back, it's a scam.
