Caller claimed they were Nancy white (with foreign accent)from
National institute of health calling because I had been chosen at random because I'm a United states citizen having never filed bankruptcy and a non felon and that they only choose 200 people to receive a $14,000 government grant that would not need to be paid back. She asked me what I would spend the money on and then said that they only ask that the money not be used for any illegal purposes. She then went on to give me the company name
National institute of health and the address of
9000 Rockville pike Bethesda md 20892 and phone number
(240)229-6568. The
Approval Id #nw008. She then went on to tell me that all I would need to do is give her my bank account number or a debit card number so that they could deposit the funds to my account. I then asked her if I could call her back with a pre paid debit card number, she said yes. Then I got online to search the internet for any scam complaints and ended up here! Figured I'd post about my experience here so that others would know.
