When I picked up the call there was a recorded message saying that the warranty on my car was going to expire and this was my final notice to renew it. At first I thought it was genuine, so I pressed 3 to talk to a representative. When the person asked for the mileage on my car it took me a few minutes to find that, and within 15 seconds of waiting, the call went dead. That seemed fishy to me, so I decided to look up the number.
Looks like I dodged a bullet with this scam!! (I should have known better since it didn't even say which car make it represented.) -

This number called my cellular phone at 11:38 am this date. Caller ID only showed "Utah". Since I do not know anyone in Utah, I assume it is a telemarketer. Did not leave message.
