I got a call from +4065 number, they told us company name Pearson Education, but when I search the number any where there is no proof for this number any where in there name.

They have believed to be originated in Japan. Wangiri in Japanese means one ring and cut.Mechanism of Fraud:The caller obtains these premium numbers from telecom operators and calls thousands of phone numbers. Now naive callers who dial back lose closeto Usd 2.2 (typical satellite call cost) or even more for a minute. The person on the other end prolongs the discussion as much as possible. Now the charges are then shared with telecom operator and the owner of the toll number.It's impossible to find where the call is routed from because callers use sophisticated software to mask their IP addresses.How do you block these? Easiest way is to pick calls you know and you are expecting and dont pick a funny number or else if you are compulsive, you have mobile security softwares that can help you block these calls.Note: when someone uses calling cards or Skype to call you generally have a three or four digit number like +3444. -
