I answered and he addressed me by my 1st name then said this was being recorded. He proceeded to ask me to confirm the last 4 digits of my #SS. I said, "I need to know who I am talking to and what this is about before I confirm anything. There are too many scams going around." He said he was from a recovery service and, "We sent you a letter 2 weeks ago but you didn't respond. Since you won't answer I'll end the call."
If this is a professional company they have horrible emplyees or policy. No one owes you a confirmation of personal information when you haven't properly informed who you are and why you are calling. -

She called me by my first name, then added my previous last name. Then wanted to verify my ss#. At that point I asked who was calling and what she wanted..she wouldnt tell me until I verified my SS#! NOT TODAY! when I wouldn't answer she said you can call back and verify to find out what she was calling for!! NOPE!! Be a cold day in hell before I do that or verify my personal information over the phone! SCAMMERS!!
