   The individual called saying they were from "merchant support," but didn't know what forms of payment we offered. They asked to speak with the business owner by name and tried to make it seem like they were trying to help us when we never sought out assistance to begin with.

   seems like a scam call: claimed they needed to speak to accounting about an $850 transaction. Very persistant in asking for " the merchant account manger" or the owner

   Wanted to help the business to "process some refunds for fees we shouldn't have been charged", wanted information about specifics on hardware but didn't know anything about the business like the owner's name or anything; while being very pushy.
   
   Pretty obvious scam.
