I don't know how these yahoos got my cell phone number. I l've received a couple calls and today I answered and it was an auto voice message. After I heard, "Congratulations, you..." I hung up. Thanks do not call registry for not doing your job!

I got a call saying I won a free cruise to the Bahamas. I just came back from an Eastern Caribbean Cruise and Freeport is not my favorite port so I wasn't interested. I'm on the Do Not Call List so I'll probably be filing a complaint. =)

Answered the phone and was told I had won acruise Hung up and did not wait for any other information from the recording. What a scam!

Received a call from this number when I was expecting a call from a vendor coming to my house. I thought it was the vendor but when I answered they hung up on me. I have not received any further calls but this was just two days ago. I'm sure this is some kind of sales call. Don't answer.

Despite the fact that my cell phone number is on the national “Do not call list” and has been for years, I received a call from this telemarketer. A recorded message congratulated me on having won an all expense paid trip for two to the Bahamas if I would partake in a short survey. When the call came in, my husband and I were stuck in a traffic jam and to pass the time I agreed to take the survey. After answering a few silly questions I was asked to press a number on my keypad to be connected to a travel agent who would set up the trip to the Bahamas for me. At that point traffic was moving again and I hung up. Shortly thereafter I started receiving phone calls from a different number (949-203-2324) which is registered to the Royal Bahama Cruise Line. As of yet, I was never near my cell phone when the calls came in so I don’t know how this scam would have played out. Just for the fun of it I will answer if they call again and I am within reach of my cell phone. I will then post “the rest of the story”. -

I thought it was a friend calling me back...as soon as I said hello, a female-sounding auto dialer said "congratulations! you've just been selected to recieve..." and I hung up. I don't trust any of those kind of calls so will be be marking it in my call log as a "do not answer", as should you.
