I actually received a call last week after entering an entry card at a local buffet and listened to the recording, got onto the line with a very helpful representative to confirm I understood the recording, which seems to be the main complaint on here, that no one listens to the recording. If you listen and understand the VACATION is free the trip is not, it is actually an incredible deal.

I filled out an entry form for a free bahamas cruise. I was told up front that i would need to pay port fees and booking fees, Which was ok, i understood that. Then a year later i get ready to book the cruise. I was originally told i had the option between two hotels. So with no doubt i took the all inclusive resort. At the time i was not told there would be any fees. Before i could get the confirmation of the vacation she told me last minute there was a 69.99 resort fee per person per day which totaled around 850. She insured me that it was because its an all inclusive resort and there are resort fees because of all the included meals and extra amenities. So i thought it still sounded like a good deal so i went through with it. Not to mention i was originally told the drinks on the cruise would be included, which they were not. I had to pay extra once i got on the cruise for drinks. So i got to the hotel and we made friends with another couple that had booked the vacation and paid through travelocity. They told me it was about 840 just for the hotel. Which was about what i paid for the free vacation i had supposedly won.So i mentioned to our new friends that we had these extra amenities because of the resort fees. They informed me they had the same and that there was no resort fees. So i asked the front desk and they also said there was no resort fees. Now when the reservations department gave me the option between the hotels they did not tell me i would have to pay for the all inclusive resort. If she had told me that i had to pay for the hotel instead of saying these were resort fees i would not be so upset right now. resort fees are charged by resorts for the extra service. this is not the cost to stay at the hotel.

I got a call from a lady named Delilah? I think that was it. Probably a fake name because last time I heard that was was in Little Rascals. But I understand with stalkers and all. She was really nice and all but I told her I didn't have time to talk and wasn't able to go on any vacations anytime soon.

I only spoke with the person once, they explained I entered a sweepstakes for a cruise and after telling them I wasn't interested they never called again.

Actually just got my cruise all set up with these guys! They explained to me there are some port fees and stuff but it still comes out to a great deal for a cruise. Can't wait to be in the Bahamas.
