saw this number on my caller ID finally picked up and a foreign dude said my computer had many errors, knew what kind of computer I had, wanted to sell me software to fix my computer. Told him I was reporting him to the FBI. When you call the number it rings and picks up but only silence then disconnects in a few seconds

Same MO as reported here. An Indian male, from PC TRackers, called to say I was downloading harmful stuff from the Internet. Being a computer engineer, I asked him what my IP address was and of course it was incorrect. Starting with 192.68 as I'm sure just about all home wireless PCs have. I played with him for a while and when I decided to stop he got angry saying why did you go forward with this if you're not interested in learning. I told him since he interrupted my dinner, I wanted to waste as much as his time as I could. Then I stated I'll be reporting the number to the Do Not Call registry which I did. I wonder how many people they can fool in a day?
