   its a scam and a poor one at that. I called and harrassed them 5 times over a 3 minute period. Evidently they dont have caller id. Fun if you are really bored.

   Received 3 calls with the same message Jim provided. I tried calling back on a Sat., no one answered. I know it’s a trap but was also going to ask for info from them.

   Recording says $299 has just been deducted from you bank account. Please call this number to request a refund.
   
   Call from Clearwater, Florida, but with an Indian accent. Stated this was for a monthly subscription to protect my computer.
   
   I persisted and asked more questions, what kind of software was it, which bank account did they pull the money from? He didn't answer my questions but persisted as to whether or not I wanted a refund.
   
   I kept asking questions and he eventually hung up on me.
   
   I assume that for those that say they want a refund, he then asks for your account information, and then with that he drains your account.

   To be clear, the original message was a recording. When you call the number back, that is when they ask you for a refund.
