   To be clear, they called me. Highly suspicious. I did not call back.

   Just my experience - They knew my information, werent phishing for unknowns, and I called back and talked with them - They are a 3rd party call center for comcast called GCS. again they knew exactly who I was, who called, what the offer was, and explained to me that they have been contracted with comcast for 12 years. Fingers crossed, as I went with the offer.

    First -Comcast would leave a message.
    Second -They would try email first, most likely
    Third - They wouldn't keep calling if it were important, they would send mail.
    Fourth - Any company that has to lie about their true name on their Caller ID is not worth my time.

    Called ID stated SPAM RISK ..... Answered and went on MUTE.... PERSON JUST BREATHING HEAVY IN PHONE FOR approximately 2 minutes then hung up .... I BLOCKED NUMBER immediately

    First time I received a call from this number, the person left a message that was just breathing sounds. The next day, I received two missed calls fr this number with no messages. I reported and blocked the number.

    The caller claims to work for Comcast and wants to verify information about me before he proceeds. I hang up on him immediately. Since then, it becomes more aggressive by calling me several times a day. Although I blocked the number, somehow it keeps come through. Therefore, I stop answering it when I see the number.

    Repeated calls from Comcast? As they identify themselves. Because Comcast showed on my caller ID I called office. Answer's as Comcast but the office is closed. I think they're tracking numbers. Turning over to Xfinity Security.

    Scam call.. identified as working on behalf of Comcast. Comcast no longer refers to themselves as Comcast since they go by Xfinity. DO not give them your information!

    Called to offer me an internet deal with local channels for almost $30 less than what I am paying with increased internet speed. Caller asked me to verify my address and phone number although the caller called me. Caller kept placing me on hold pretending to have technical issues and supervisor was placed on the phone to tell me about an automated system calling me and all I had to do was create a password. That's when they lost me. I hung up. Called back and another guy answered the phone and knew my name. I asked about the promotion because I was disconnected and was told that he did not have access to that information and that someone would call me back by Monday. Weird. Scam.

    This number (800) 863-4785 called me today. I didn't recognize the number so, I let it go to voicemail. They didnt leave a VM so, I called back. While it rang seemed odd. A man picked up after a few rings answered "thank you for calling comcast". I knew it was a scam of some sort. Comcast has a prompt then has you wait for an assistant to assist. Wait, I DONT HAVE COMCAST! lol.. so beware of this asshat. Don't give him any of your info!

    Said they were calling on behalf of my cable company - Comcast - to offer me more deals I might not have known about (!). Didn't want to take "I'M NOT INTERESTED," as a answer so I hung up.
    Apparently a legit company but why they are calling for Comcast rather than Comcast calling is beyond me.
    I'm really not interested.

    I received this call a few days after installing services from Comcast in my home. At first the man stated my name and then asked how the install went and for me to answer a few questions. After that he wanted to review my first bill with me. He stated that I would be paying 170$ for my services and that I upgraded my internet services to the high speed package. I told him this was all incorrect and I did not request this upgrade. He became rude and quickly told me to call 1800xfinity for the billing center. I went on MYACCOUNT and called xfinity, both confirmed the amount I knew I would be paying (104$). The lady had no idea where this guy got this crazy amount from and why he thought I got an upgrade. Thinking back I know this was a scam to pay more or give my personal information out. Do not trust this number!
