Just got a call from this number claiming to be on behalf of Democratic Senators.Was very rude and aggressive when I said I don't give money over the phone, and then proceeded to BERATE me about the 'close race" in my area and how desperate the DNC is. Umm.. I live in California, there are ONLY Dem Senators running, so literally there is no way the DNC can lose. Obviously this person isn't affiliated with the DNC in any way. Beware.

I just received a call from this number. The lady stated she'd was with the federal grant departmwnt, as if I were to believe the government is going to give me free money. Do not trust these people and absolutely under no circumstances give personal info out over the phone. I informed her that I'd be turning her in for fraud against the us government and she hung up on me. Very professional lol

7:00 thanksgiving morning? Are you kidding me. Did not answer as I think I might have been very angry. Knew it was some kind of telemarketer. I am on the do not call list, how do they get away with this. By the reports here I am glad I didn't answer.

Received a call from 801-656-2093 on 30 October 2015. The voice was of an Indian man. Asked for someone and I told him he had the wrong number. He continued to speak with foul language. Even threatened me and he said he was coming to my house within the hour. I heard someone in the background on the phone asking someone about their computer. So I know it was a scam.

Second call I've received in the last week (one from a "000000000" number) claiming to be from "Microsoft Technical Support". They start out by saying that something is wrong with my laptop and I need to fix it, yada yada yada. Since I run a Mac, I knew it was a scam from the get-go. I hate lowlifes who try and rip people off!

well i missed the call when i was asleep this morning ( ima heavy sleeper so i didnt here my cell phone rang, im not sure how they got it coz i dont give it out to anyone but friends/family but i guess they were just pressing numbers on there phones trying to get lucky with mine. Oh and i also seareched this number it came up to this site... so i know not to answer it coz i don't have a visa OR a master card. the card i do have, only got a 500 dollar limit and i have to go to wallmart to reload it.

One of my students received a phone call from a representative of the “Federal Government” claiming that she won $9,000 because she pays her bills on time and has not filed for bankruptcy. They were insisting that she provide a credit card number for them to deposit the funds into her account. They also suggested sending it to her via Western Union. She gave me the phone and the caller clearly was lying and was running a scam. When I asked him for the name of the office he works in, his name, and his phone number he hesitated. He finally said that his name was Michael Brown. After letting him know that I knew that he was lying and what he was doing was illegal, he hung up the phone.

They claim to be from Microsoft tech support (which should be a tip-off, because as we know, Microsoft tech support is an oxymoron) and try to get you to open your computer because you are being attacked by someone unauthorized to use your system. BE VERY, VERY AFRAID.

Caller wont identity themselves but my caller id on my phone shows them to be CUSTOMER FOCUS in Salt Lake City, UTAH and they are a scam. Added to reject list and reported to phone company. Not a call since. Problem solved.

The call came at 5:50pm and it was regarding a third party energy distributor. The accent seemed to be that of a Philippines speaker. They were asking about who my current distributor was and what was my age. This seemed really shady. If you receive a call from them be careful.

this morning at 8:30am PST my cell phone rang then quickly hung up. This has happened a number of times the past few months, so I decided to look it up. That search led me here. I noticed another review mentioned being told about a "Computer virus" and I have also received these calls. I explained my computer was fine on both prior occasions and that if I did have a problem I had someone here who could handle it. That was a few months ago. So now I guess I am just on a call & hang up list... just wanted to add my experience for others who may be on their list. (And yes, I told them to remove me from their calling list, but it did no good.)

Monday, November 25, 2013 - This #801-656-2093 from "Customer Focus" called me at 7:32 am, woke me up, and proceeded to tell me that they had indications that my computer was infected with a virus 'from the internet'. The background noise, the foreign accent and the way he repeated himself sounded like he was reading it from a pre-written spiel. I recognized the phone call as one I had gotten a few months before. I'm not that naive and, like the first time, told him that, "No. If I have a problem on my computer, I call someone, someone does not call me, good-bye....good-bye...GOOD-BYE!" and hung up on him. I had to repeat myself because he started trying to talk over me. I was too mad to go back to sleep and Googled the # and found this site. I'm only concerned for those people who answer the phone, believe what they say and give out personal information.

Called because of a Microsoft Computer virus.I figured it was a scam. So I played with him. I asked which computer it was. He did not know so I asked him for the IP address, then proceeded to talk over him. Asked him the serial number or the model of the computer. Then asked him to hold on while I checked something. I put the phone down and got a drink of water. Came back and asked the above questions again. Baloney answers. I then asked for the passcode I had set up with Microsoft, since they were our official tech support. Then asked him questions about the Cisco operating system. he finally hung up.
