I got the exact same message. Then they called my brother. He called back and they wouldn’t tell him anything but said they would be at his house between 12-3 to serve me papers. If they show up and if I answer I will be armed to protect myself. More likely will call the police. Be safe everyone, the world is full of sickos.

Call from Frank 833-550-0754. Same old recorded nonsense. Too bad I personally know my mail carrier and know that ALL my mail is delivered. Plus I checked my state's court records.. No lawsuit. Called to verify what company they were so I could document it. Jake got mad when I refused to verify my birthdate. I said nope. You tell me what it is. He argued saying he needed it for court and then screamed we're taking you to court. Honestly if you need it for court, and you're trying to verify my identity don't you think the original debt would have that info? I simply said nope and that I know my rights and hung up. I'm sure they'll call back at some point. And then I'll pass it on to my lawyer.

Frank said he was sending a courier to my house to have documents signed. He said if we werent there he would send someone to my workplace. He then began rattling of some sensitive information of mine as what seemed to be blackmail.

Recorded call from a man impersonating a southern accent. I am from the south and knew that was a failed attempt to try a southern accent, especially when he pronounced the word "documents" in a strong Boston accent!!! That aside, this is the message I transcribed from my voicemail and it cut off any name or company that he represented first :
"Reaching out to you here today in regards to your sealed documents that require your signature. You'll need to be available tomorrow between 12 and 3 with two valid forms of ID and a witness to be there with you when you sign off on the documents. Now I'm assuming you will still be at work around this time so I'll be stopping there first but if you're closed or not there then I'll be talking to your supervisor to get your next shift and then I'll be headed out to your home. If you dont turn up there, I will be going to friends and family members houses just to cover all boundaries. So if you need to reschedule or if you have any questions before I get out there, then you have to call the filing party with your case number. Because if you dont and I fail to locate ya, this will be marked down as a direct refusal to comply with a result in this appearance and further action will be taken. So make sure you're available and I will see you tomorrow."
This is followed by an electronic female voice saying to call 833-647-0629 with a file number to follow. I do not owe anyone money. I check my credit regularly and there are no collection accounts on any of the 3 credit bureau files.
However, I went through a divorce 8 years ago and the ex-husband defaulted on a debt. But the statute of limitations on collections has already expired on that old debt and it was removed from my credit file in the last 60 days. I assume this call is in regards to that old debt as it was the only thing I ever had and there was recent activity on that account when I disputed it. I read the statute from the state I lived in when the default occurred and the one I currently live in and neither states allow for any attempt to collect on the debt once the statute of limitations has expired. So, they are likely breaking the law by contacting me in the first place. I have not returned the call because if I reach out to them first. and this is about that expired debt, then I re-set the collections clock again. So, nope, I would rather see him come to me and try. No one showed up at my house, work, friends or family or neighbors houses, etc. My new husband and I both were waiting on him to show up, with a smile of course. :) I have received 3 of these calls so I guess he needed to reschedule. (lol) He must be a busy guy! -

I just got the exact same call today. When the call showed up on the ID it was all 1's. So I didn't answer. So on the voicemail it was Frank! telling me that I needed to be home to get this certified letter between 12 and 3pm or he was coming to my job and talk to my supervisor. Then if he couldn't find me he would start talking to neighbors, family and freinds. I'm like what the hell did I do??? Never knew not paying a bill would get this extreme!

I was told that if I was not at home between 10am and 3pm, he would talk to my supervisor since I would be at work. And he would note this as a refusal to comply. Who are these people?

Caller was on a recorded line... Has no idea he was calling a COMPANY! Same threats as everyone else! Claimed he was the mail carrier for the route!! First of all your mail carrier is NOT going to personally call you...Ridiculous!!

Called and left a message stating that he was going to my job and friends and family’s to give some papers for me to sign. Threatening to go to my house too. And if I was not able on any of those places he would go to family and friends house to find me

Caller left a threatening voicemail, name was Frank and sounded like a hillbilly. Threatened to come to my home and my job. Furthermore, he threatened to harass friends and family. If this was a true complaint, it would need to be filed in the county you live in and go through the proper procedures if there was an outstanding debt. Prior to filing a complaint, you also need to send correspondence via mail and eventually a certified letter to show that you have attempted to contact me which neither has occurred. No idea who these people!!

Called from 833-647-0629 name was Bobby threatned to come to my house, job, relatives homes and if they couldn't find me then they would charge me with a crime. Then told me I was going to court and I've never been served with anything and have no idea what its over. He threatned to sexually assault my chickens.

Frank called making threats to go to my job, speak to my supervisor, come to my house and then friends and family blah blah blah. Sounds like an uneducated back woods hillbilly. I hope he reads this, PLEASE come to my house!!!
