My mom just got a call from these SCAMMERS yesterday. They did the same as the others have reported. Told her they were with the local cable company and going to fix her email. Got on her computer and were very interested in looking at her documents, showed her viruses, etc. Wanted her to leave her computer on all night so they could "work on it" and for her not to touch anything. She said they were Asian & very hard to understand. PLEASE give them NO information and hand up immediately- do not believe anything they say.

Got a call yesterday from i secure vap, the girl claimed that my computer was actually downloading viruses and that I should get to it and she would be able to fix the problem... SCAM !!!

They are scammers.
They tell you your computer gor a virus or something else and ask you to use their website. If you do it, they will control your pc and force yout to pay $200 !john replied 2/12/15, 4:09 PMScam!! A male called me, and said that my computer was about to freeze, and asked me to go into my controls. I ask him for his # in which he gave me (888)577-4033. I told him that I would call Hewlett Packard and verify his authenticity. He immediately hung up on me
