I had a debt from about five years ago, recently transferred to Midland Credit Management for collections. Their call center appears to be in India, so perhaps they don't have to comply with US laws regarding harassment. If they identify you correctly by name and you tell them to stop calling you, under US law, they have to stop calling you. It's only if they are calling the wrong person, they can legally continue to call you. I know, it doesn't make sense.

Indian lady repeatedly asking if they had the correct name and I couldn't understand her, I said yes just to see what would happen. She very quickly transfers you to someone else.
They don't tell you if you're being recording or what.
It's VERY rude and I don't appreciate it.
I don't owe them money. -

I have been receiving calls from this number for about 7 months and no one ever leaves a message. I never answer calls from unidentified callers. Based on my research, this is a debt collection company. I have to debt. so they either have the wrong number or this is a Scam.

No name is given. All it shows is unavailable I do not answer unavailable calls. They never leave a message just call anywhere from 5 to 8 times a day.
